MAKEUP

Hourglass Vanish Stick: [Already have] I found out about this foundation when I got my makeup done during NYFW by Hourglass this past February and I’ve been hooked! It’s AMAZING for beginners and it gives you a medium finish. It’s an easy on-the-go foundation so you don’t have to put up with the mess and it’s great for sensitive skin too! I’m in shade ‘beige’.

Foundation Brush: [Already have]  This is also a product I picked up at NYFW and it’s the only brush I’ve been using lately to apply my foundation because it’s dense yet soft and your makeup goes on flawlessly with this brush, it definitely makes a difference!

Dior Airflash foundation: [Already have]  This is actually my favorite foundation of all time right now! My mother-in-law got me hooked on it last year and I can’t get enough of it!! Since it is on the pricer side, it’s an investment foundation for me and I only apply it on the days where I know I’m going somewhere fancy and I need my face to be on point. You’ll 100% get that airbrushed look with this foundation! I’m in shade ‘sand 301’.

Giorgio Armani Foundation: [Buying for the first time] I haven’t bought this yet but I wanted to put it on the list because I’ve heard AMAZING things about this foundation. It’s another investment one but I think I might try it!

Fenty Beauty Foundation: [Buying for the first time] Who has tried this?!! It’s been on my list ever since it came out but I haven’t had the chance to buy it yet. It’s pretty affordable too compared to the others and I’ve heard good things about this one too! No idea what shade I’m in yet though so hang tight!

Shop foundations + brush:

Eyebrow Cream-Gel: [Already have] I’ve tried tons of eyebrow brushes and I still find myself going back to this one. It’s just so easy to use and I’m super quick when doing my eyebrows with this applicator. I got shade ‘medium 04’.

Under Eye Dark Circle Corrector: [Already have] This stuff is gold. I’m Indian so I naturally have hereditary dark circles and this a layer of this under my concealer really does put those dark circles to bed!

Lip Gloss: [Already have] Urban Decay sent me a PR package with all of their latest lip glosses and I absolutely love them!! They’re so soft and buttery, ‘backtalk’ is one of my favorite shades!

Bronzer:[Already have] I buy this bronzer over and over again. Ok, I say over and over again but it’s been like twice over a couple of years, it lasts me such a long time and it smells so good! I love

Brightening powder: [Already have] I’m pretty sure I’ve been telling everyone to buy this for over 3 years now. I have insanely dry skin so I only use this directly underneath my eyes where I put my concealer to lock it in place and it’s just been soooo good to me! I love stocking up on this during the Sephora sale!

Primer: [Already have] This is still my go-to primer because of how silky it is on my skin. Like I said, I have super dry skin so anything that is silky or dewy is perfect for me! Plus, it’s oil-free and excellent for acne-prone skin.

Concealer: [Already have] As of now, this is still my favorite concealer because it hides my dark circles pretty well. I’m in shade ‘custard’! I haven’t tried the Tarte shape tape concealer yet but I hear that one is great too!

Mascara: [Already have] I love a lot of different mascaras because surprisingly my lashes don’t fight with me a lot– they’re well-behaved lashes for lack of a better term. This mascara is makes your lashes look super long and voluminous and for me, it doesn’t clump at all!

Blush: [Already have] Another must-have product for summer!! Very pigmented and the radiant finish ones have this gorgeous shine to it– it’s almost like a highlighter + blush all in one! You can’t go wrong with any shade but I have the radiant finish in ‘mood exposure’ and ‘luminous flush’.

Eyeshadow Palette: [Already have] This is too cute not to put on the list. The colors are great and it’s the perfect size for traveling!

Beauty Blender: [Already have] You’re going to need it eventually so why not stock up now when it’s on sale?! Use it damp!

SKINCARE

Mask: [Already have] I’m 99% sure this will still be sold out but I’m going to list it on here anyway because it’s definitely a favorite of mine! I apply it as an overnight mask and my skin feels SO plump and hydrated in the morning. Worth every penny I promise!

Overnight Mask: [Already have] Any time I’m feeling extra red or I’m on the verge of breaking out, I put this mask on overnight (nothing else!) and wake up with my skin feeling brand new! It has healthy ingredients that help target redness and skin irritation and it works. Best overnight mask yet!

My current moisturizer: [Already have] It’s not cheap. At all. If you’re looking for a cheaper, comparable moisturizer then look at the one below but this is a HEFTY investment but I can’t live without it!! La Mer might just be my favorite skincare line of all time because none of their products have ever failed me. This soft cream lasts me about 8-9 months and has transformed my skin for the better.

Alternative moisturizer: [Used to have] This is a more affordable moisturizer that has worked well for my skin the past. It’s not as good as my current one but I know a lot of you look for similar items at different price points and this one is still comparable. It’s a great moisturizer for those that have dry/dull skin and it helps add that glow back into your skin!

My current eye cream: [Already have] Another La Mer holy-grail, I’m-never-letting-go-kind-of-product. I have yet to find an eye cream that reduces the appearance of my dark circles better than this one. It comes with an applicator that I like to put in the fridge and the cool touch helps to de-puff as well. This will likely sell out (it did last year too)!!

Alternative eye cream: [Buying for the first time] I read about this eye cream a lot and was informed that it instantly brightens your eyes…as in you can see a difference immediately. It has good reviews too so I’ll let y’all know how I like it!

Lip balm: [Already have] Kopari is a fantastic brand and their lip balms are my favorite! These are soothing with a pop of color and I can’t get enough!

Serum: [Already have] Basically the best serum in the game!!

Cleansing balm: [Buying for the first time] This cleansing balm is acts as a gentle makeup remover and cleanser at the same time. I’ve seen really good reviews on it and since I’ve been on the hunt for a new cleanser, I figured I’d try this! I used to use Sunday Riley’s Clay Cleanser which is great if you have normal to oily skin but turns out, clay cleaners aren’t the best for dry skin so I had to give it up!

HAIRCARE

Wave Spray: [Already have] Magic in a bottle, I think so! This wave spray doesn’t weigh your hair down at all, smells AMAZING, and leaves your hair feeling effortlessly chic! I always get the small size so I can travel with it!

Hair Dryer: [Already have] I use this one right now and I’m in love with it!! I found that it shaves down my blowdrying time by 2 minutes from the previous version which is nice! It has an auto sensor on there that turns the blowdryer off when you set it down though which sometimes isn’t on point so I can be mid-blowdrying and it’ll just turn off, lol. Just thought you should know!

Dry Shampoo: [Already have]  So the odd thing is my skin is extra dry but my hair is extra oily and so finding a dry shampoo can be tough for me. I tested out this one for a couple of weeks and it’s the only one that I found that really targets my oily hair and it’s the reason why I can now go 3-4 days without washing my hair. It used to be maybe 2 days!

Shampoo / Conditioner: [Used to have] I wrote a post about my recent haircare routine and I briefly mentioned this shampoo and conditioner. I’ve used it in the past and really liked it! I just like switching up my routine every 3-4 months which is why I’m on to something next but if you’re on a hunt for something new, give this a try while it’s on sale!
