8 budget-friendly festival skincare and beauty products

Coachella weekend 1 may be over but that’s just the start of festival season with Coachella weekend 2 quickly approaching! I wasn’t able to go this year but I was looking into costs for tickets and hotels and man oh man are things PRICEY!! I’m excited to partner with Walmart in today’s blog post to share some of my beauty favorites that are actually affordable, are great quality, and amazing for festival season!

METALLIC TEMPORARY TATTOOS

I’m sure you’ve seen tons of people that add little gems above their eyebrows and their eyes– it’s a total festival thing to do and it looks so cool! I found these metallic temporary tattoos at Walmart that you can place on your arms which would make for such a fun accessory! It lasts 1-5 days and it’s easy to put on/take off.

METALLIC LIPSTICK

When else can you pull this off on a regular basis? Festivals are all about metallics, glitter and all the fun stuff that makes you stand out and one of a kind so this one from Maybelline is GOLD! I have the one in ‘white gold‘ since it’s not as dramatic as the others but just enough to where you’re still having fun with your lipstick, know what I mean?!

THAT DEWY FOUNDATION

I would definitely not go for a matte foundation for a festival look. When I think of festival beauty, I’m thinking metallic embellishments, dewy/bronzy look with tons of glow. It’s important that you take a good foundation with you and this one from Maybelline is SO GOOD. It’s actually hydrating (and in a desert, you’ll thank yourself later for getting this one), and it has a natural luminous finish. Win win!

BRONZER THAT GIVES YOU THAT GODDESS GLOW

You can’t settle with just any bronzer at a festival. You want that tan, goddess glow and I have the PERFECT bronzer for you that is creamy, soft and LIT! I actually have this one and it’s one of my favorites for summer! I’m got the shade ‘sunkissed bronzer‘ from Walmart!

GLITTER GLITTER GLITTER

Did I say that enough? If you’re headed to a festival, you’ll want it! I found this one at Walmart and you can spray it on both your hair and body! It washes off easy so don’t worry about post festival look!

ON-THE-GO SPONGES

I can’t get enough of these sponges for blending in my makeup! They’re way more affordable than others that I have and they work just as well. I recommend using it damp if you want that dewy finish! Grab your water bottle (which you should have with you at all times during a festival!!) and pour some on the sponges!

THE HOLY-GRAIL OIL

Ok real talk, you should be using this oil in your every day life. It’s one of my best purchases in 2018, hands down! This oil helps with scars, stretch marks, and is just overall really good for your skin. I got this from Walmart too and it’s at an amazing price– one of these bottles should last you up to a year depending on how often you use it! It contains all sorts of good things in it like vitamin A and vitamin E!

SPF

This is an obvious one but I had to mention it. I’ve been using Aveeno for as long as I can remember and what I like about their SPF is it has the UVA and UVF sun protection but it also hydrates your skin (you know I’m all about hydration!!) and leaves your skin super smooth!

I hope this post is helpful to you if you have any upcoming festival trips coming up whether it’s Coachella weekend 2 or other exciting ones in the near future!! Grab your affordable skincare and beauty essentials from Walmart, take amazing photos and don’t forget to be in the moment too and enjoy every bit of it! Chat soon, loves!
