We are less than a week away from the first official day of fall!! I’m excited about cranking out those boots and scarves but you know what will remain at the forefront of my closet? Floral print! I absolutely love the fact that we can wear floral print all year long, y’all. Even though LA weather will pretty much be the same — give or a take a few degrees — I’m still so excited to start pulling out more cozy gear. I love long, flowy dresses especially during this time of the year and this one from Walmart is right up my alley. The mustard yellow and burgundy really mesh well together and I’m diggin’ the two colors for fall. I’m actually wearing head-to-toe Walmart in this look so let’s get right into details for you to shop!
First and foremost, Walmart has a huge variety of fall styles to pick from on their “It List” page so be sure to click here to find more options! My maxi dress in particular comes in 4 other styles and is super cozy to wear whether you’re at home, running errands or out exploring the city. The dress washes well (I’ve washed it once already!) and it fits almost true to size! If you’re in between sizes, I would definitely size down. Since the dress is a bit long (I’m 5’4 for reference) I went ahead and paired it with comfortable heels to add some length to the look. I know it can be difficult to style maxi dresses for us petite gals and if you’re like me, definitely invest in some good, comfortable heels to pair with maxi dresses to make them wearable! Mine are from Walmart and you can shop them here.
I threw on a tassel messenger bag in shade beige and tassel drop earrings from Walmart as well to complete the look. The earrings are insanely great quality and are so lightweight and gentle on the ears! Have you stocked up on fall gear yet? I recommend checking out Walmart as you can find tons of really great quality items that won’t break the bank! Let me know if you have any questions, chat soon!
