Exploring London || Slouchy Crew Sweater

Happy Wednesday, loves!! I’m so sorry I didn’t have a post go live yesterday– the time zone/jet lag totally threw me off! Our first day in London was so much fun though! Our trip started out pretty hectic, let me tell you. We left our house in an Uber on our way to the airport only to realize one of us forgot one of our luggage back at home (basically 30 minutes into the drive) and so we had to turn back around, get the suitcase and then head back to the airport. Thankfully, we were going 3 hours early since it was an international flight so we checked in just fine even with that adventure. Then we got to the airport only to find out our flight has been delayed….and then delayed AGAIN while we were on the plane! Apparently, connecting flights don’t wait for you if you’re delayed so that’s cool. I was in total panic mode because after landed, we only had 30 minutes to catch the tram from terminal B to F to board our next flight to London. As we were waiting for the tram, someone on the intercom said “Our tram is temporarily out of service”. YUP! So all of us RAN (and yes, I mean ran) so fast from concourse to concourse finally making it to our gate just a few minutes before they closed the doors. Needless to say I was sweating and exhausted already lol.

Everything has been pretty smooth so far after arriving in London though! We checked in our flight and we are staying at the cutest boutique hotel in Kensington! The weather was a bit chilly today (high of 60s and low of 50s) and but no rain so we had the opportunity to explore the Kensington Palace and Hyde Park! It’s supposed to rain tomorrow all day so our plans are a bit up in the air right now so I’ll keep you guys updated.

I wore a slouchy sweater from Abercrombie that kept me warm throughout our stroll through Hyde Park. I didn’t even need to layer it at all– it’s thick and super cozy! 🙂 A few other colors are sold out but this one is still available, shop early since it’s on major sale right now! 🙂 I paired it with my new favorite denim— I’ve been living in these for the last week! So comfortable and cute! I ended up taking off my booties about an hour into the walk because there is nothing more comfortable than my Adidas sneakers (plus, I didn’t want to dirty them too much since I just got them lol!) but they surprisingly lasted much longer than I expected!

Anyway, I’m off to bed so we can hopefully start our day pretty early tomorrow…you know, before 12pm hehe! I’m hoping to have a YouTube video up tomorrow on my channel so keep a look out for that! Chat soon, loves!
