Current Favorite Denim

I’ve officially made it to the big apple, y’all!! It’s been raining nonstop but I’m loving the cozy vibe. We went to a pizza spot for lunch called Lombardi’s! It was pretty delish but as expected, no ranch. I think ranch with pizza is just a southern thing? I need to start carrying a bottle of ranch around with me when I travel to New York, hah! Wouldn’t that be something!

I’m currently sitting downstairs at the hotel restaurant, jamming to music and working with the hubs. It’s a pretty relaxing night before the chaos begins tomorrow morning. I have to be up at 6:30 to get ready. 6:30AM. Yup, ME!! I have to get up that early. I’ll need all the prayers I can get to make sure I’m up on time and don’t run late to my first meeting of the week.

Yesterday, I told you guys that I splurged on a new pair of denim and I’m pretty obsessed. I wore them on the plane which if you know me, you know that I NEVER wear jeans on a plane. I’m usually in leggings or joggers. I’m not about the uppity look life on a plane– I just want to relax and be comfortable. My new Rag & Bone jeans from Nordstrom are so incredible, y’all. I can’t say enough good things about them! They’re insanely soft, the fabric is FANTASTIC. I’ve already washed them once and they didn’t fade or stretch one bit. Most importantly, they fit me so snug and hug me all in the right places– I couldn’t pass on these jeans and nor should you! If you’re looking for high-quality denim and are struggling to find the right ones, I would check out Nordstrom because they have a great denim selection. The ones I picked are honestly the best pair of denim I’ve ever owned so if you’re interested and would like to check it out, I’ll link all my outfit deets on the bottom. Highly, highly recommend! I paired my jeans with a casual flared bell sleeves top— I love the classic look! I purchased my loafers from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale in July but they’re in stock and crazy comfortable. These are actually my first pair of loafers! I think I may get another pair in metallic…what do y’all think? I’d love to know! 🙂

Anyway! I’m off to bed but I just wanted to say that my posts will be slightly different the next few days as I am in New York but I promise to go back to regular scheduled programming next week.
