Summer Lace Jumpsuit

Yesterday, I fell. I was picking up my brand new vacuum from the leasing center and I made it all the way to my apartment door when it all went down (literally). I was dragging the vacuum forward the last few steps going into my apartment and the vacuum got stuck on the door step and it fell forward straight to the ground, along with little ol’ me! I fell face forward but somehow landed on my left thigh first??? I wasn’t in too much pain until the next day and my whole entire body just felt weak and was aching all over. I noticed a giant, and I MEAN GIANT bruise on my thigh which normally I’d be fine with because it’ll go away later etc and it’s all fine. Why am I telling you about this? Well, this is actually terrible timing, lol. Remember when I told y’all on Instagram Stories that I have a fun little project this week? Well…

I’ve been up since 6AM getting all dolled up today! I was asked to be a model for an upcoming fashion segment with Good Morning Texas!! I don’t really do much except stand there and strut some amazing denim shorts and top but it’s still super exciting. Did you catch the part where I said denim shorts…? Yes. This is where my bruise kicks in. It’s insane how LARGE it is and it’s literally like this red/blue/purple mixture that looks HORRIBLE!! I don’t even remember the last timeI ever fell but of course, 2 days before I go on TV is when I decide to fall. ANYWAY. The actual recording of the fashion segment is today and it’ll be aired on ABC pretty soon– I’ll keep you guys updated on the actual date. So yes, I’m excited but also spent quite a bit putting makeup on my thigh…trying to hide the bruise which didn’t really turn out that well lol. I took a few pictures of it, I may share it on Instagram Stories today!

ANYHOO about this jumpsuit! I posted this outfit on Instagram a while back but I was WAITING for it go on sale to finally share it with y’all!! Doesn’t this jumpsuit just SCREAM romantic?! I love the lace, I love the nude/white combo, and I love how flattering the straight-leg fit is! The waist is elastic which is nice, especially on those days where I feel extra bloated! 😉 It’s on sale for a little over $50 which is such a steal for this jumpsuit! I wore heels with it because I didn’t want the bottom to drag on the ground too much– that’s just how it fit me. If you’re tall enough, you may be able to get away with cute summer sandals and dress it down a bit (I ordered an XS, btw).
