Alright you guys, let’s talk foundation. I’m really picky about the foundation I use just because I have super sensitive skin and unfortunately I’m prone to breakouts. I usually aim to get oil-free foundation but one of the two I’m going to talk about is actually not oil-free, but it’s still amazing.

I’ve been using the Laura Mercier foundation for over a year now and it’s been my go-to foundation. It’s a medium coverage foundation so it’s perfect for an everyday look. Now, it’s not oil-free foundation but Laura Mercier products really work well with my skin so this foundation hasn’t given me any breakouts which is why I’ve kept this around for so long. However, there IS an oil-free Laura Mercier foundation option which I’ll link here. I’ve seen a lot of great reviews for the oil-free option so that might be my next purchase.

The Marc Jacobs re(Marc)able foundation is something I’ve been using the last few months and I primarily wear it on the weekends because it has a full-coverage effect. It’s oil-free and it hasn’t made me break out which is AWESOME. So if you’re looking for a full coverage effect (without looking too cake face) then I think this one is perfect!

I’ve included my MOTD Cosmetics ‘Beauty and the Base’ foundation brush in my favs because honestly, this brush completely transformed my skin. Not only is it vegan and cruelty free, this foundation brush has taklon bristles that is GREAT for sensitive skin. This brush really made applying my foundation easy and gave an airbrushed finish. No streaks, no creases. It’s super dense and so freaking soft. My favorite all time brush. Plus, you can get 10% off your order at MOTDCosmetics.com if you use code ‘Nita‘ during checkout. MOTD Cosmetics aims for affordable yet high quality brushes and they are totally worth it! It’s all I use now and if you’re on the hunt for some new brushes, you should definitely check them out.

The last thing I wanted to highlight for you guys is this new eye cream I’ve been using. I’ve spent the last 4-5 years just trying to find ANY FREAKING EYE CREAM that will at least diminish my dark circles. My dark circles are annoyingly hereditary (Indian girl probz) and no matter how much I sleep and drink water, they just won’t go away. So I know that completely getting rid of them is impossible but I really wanted to reduce the appearance of the dark circles a little. I’ve gone through way too many eye creams and got pretty much near zero results. Lately, I’ve been obsessing over La Mer products and I thought I’d just give their eye cream a try. It’s definitely on the pricey side, which sucks but holy moly is it worth it. Just within weeks I noticed such a difference to the point where I didn’t have to apply as much under eye concealer to hide my dark circles. A little goes long way with this product so I know it will last me a LONG time, which makes this even more worth it. Their La Mer The Eye Concentrate is specifically for dark circles so if you’re struggling like I was, then let me save you the time and money from trying out other products and being disappointed. This is it. It’s a game changer and you’re welcome 😉

P.S. If the La Mer Eye Concentrate isn’t within your budget right now, I’ve heard some great things about these products (here and here) that might be worth looking into. But I’m telling you guys, LA MER IS TOTALLY WORTH EVERY PENNY and will last you such a long time. So if you can invest in it, I would highly recommend it!! And no, I’m not getting paid to say this- I just love the product too much and had to share. 😛

Anyways, that’s a wrap for me. If y’all have any other questions about the products I linked, leave a comment and I’ll be in touch! All products will be linked below! 😘

Until next time, xo.
