Snow Vest & Cozy Gloves

Did y’all hear?! Dallas finally got a little bit of “snow” last Friday! I know, I know. To many others, it’s a joke but hey, it’s all we are going to get so I’ll take it!! Sometimes I really wonder why I don’t live in New York or somewhere in the northeast because I LOVE the snow to the point where I want to be shoveling snow out of my driveway! Everyone always tells me I’m crazy and I’ll change my mind the minute I actually have to shovel snow lol. Anyway, I borrowed this vest from my sister since she’s staying with us for a few weeks (woohoo) and I absolutely love it! She actually introduced me to this store called Altar’d State and I’m obsessed! I can’t believe I haven’t heard of this store when there are so many locations here in Dallas! This vest is super cute and is great for mixing and matching patterns or textures this season! You know how much I love versatile pieces and this is one of them! I got my duck boots from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale a few months back but I found them at Zappos so woohoo! They keep your toes so warm and they’re perfect for any type of weather. I wore them last while hiking and they held up great!!

One last thing I want to highlight – these gloves. Lately it’s been insanely cold in Dallas (it’s back in the 70s today) and these gloves have been such a life savor!! I hate my hands get super cold and dry and these cashmere lined gloves keep them warm even through 18 degree weather!! It’s a little more than I would usually spend on gloves, but they are SO worth it.
