red-hot for valentine’s day with express

The subtle ruffle detail and velvet touch is what drew me in to the dress and I hope it does for you too! Since the dress is a solid color with no prints to be seen, I decided to make my shoes pop with these gorgeous gold caged heeled sandals. The cage really adds some sass and definition to the whole entire outfit and just brings the entire look together! This is 100% the dress I’m wearing for date night with the hubs for Valentine’s Day and needless to say, he approves!

I wanted to keep the look as minimalistic and sleek as possible so I kept the look to red and gold by adding gold accents with my necklace and bracelet. Both are from Express and both are just simply darling! If you had to get one piece, I would definitely say the necklace because it accentuates your neck and would make for a gorgeous layer piece too!
