Happy Monday my loves!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!! I spent mine celebrating a friend’s birthday and squeezed in quality time with family (which was the best)! ☺️💜 So I’m just going to get right to it, I’ve totally been freaking out this weekend because I realized it was my last weekend of being single?! Ok, not “single” but I guess not married? lol. I get legally married this FRIDAY YOU GUYS THIS FREAKING FRIDAY I’LL BE A MARRIED WOMAN!! I don’t know, I can’t even process all of it yet. There are just so many emotions, maybe I’ll be able to parse through them over the next week. 😳 What I can tell you for now is that I’m happy…so incredibly happy to marry my best friend. The man that encouraged me to follow my passion and blog, without him I wouldn’t even be writing on here. 💞 I should actually be writing my vows instead of writing this blog post lolol but I’ll do that tomorrow hehe 🙊 shhh don’t tell the mister!!! I’ll keep y’all updated on my emotions after the big day so be sure to follow me on Snapchat (itsmeNeets) so you don’t miss a beat!!
I received a lot of compliments when I posted this outfit on Instagram so I figured I should go ahead and blog it! First of all, I totally love the fact that this dress is FAUX SUEDE. If you haven’t noticed, I’m really doing my best to transition over to faux leather, suede, etc so I’m more animal-friendly! I already don’t wear fur (because how much of a !@#$%^&* can you be to wear fur?!) but I really wanted to take it to the next step and try and get more faux clothing items and accessories too. Second, this shift dress is insanely comfortable. I’m loving the mock-neck and the floral detail is minimal but too cute! The website does say it’s true to size but I’m not sure, I did find the XS to be a little bigger than I wanted it. Of course, this dress isn’t made to be fitted completely BUT I kind of wished the arm zone was a little tighter. I recommend sizing down to be honest but that’s just me! 😊 I literally ADORE these flats I got last year from Charlotte Russe. I remember I really wanted leopard print flats but everywhere I looked, it had real animal calf hair and I just couldn’t go through with it. I rejected so many until I found these perfect (and animal-friendly) flats and have been obsessed ever since. I wear them all the time during the fall because leopard print really adds the perfect pop to burgundy, olive, burnt orange, and all the neutral tones for fall! 🍂 I linked similar ones up on top if you’re interested though!
Alright you guys, it’s time to pay attention in class and maybe start panicking some more over what’s to come in the next few days (jk) 😂 I hope y’all make it through this Mondazeeee!! Chat soon! Xo. 💋
