nyfw day 3 recap: the reason why I booked my flight

My day 3 in New York was on Friday and it was another day where I left the hotel at 9am and didn’t come back until 9pm!

I started out my day with a meeting with Vince Camuto that could not have gone better!! Their team is so great and I look forward to working with them in 2018!

You want to know why I truly booked NYFW? I got an invite to the Kate Spade Presentation and my heart stopped! I wanted to go to this last September but wasn’t able to and I knew I couldn’t let an opportunity like this pass me by again. Literally as soon as I got the invite for the Kate Spade presentation, I booked my flight to New York. It was the most incredibly experience and by far one of my favorite presentations yet. The collection was beautiful (no surprises there) but they also had live performers and a pianist there and gosh it was just magical. I’ve been a huge fan of Kate Spade for as long as I can remember and attending this presentation was A DREAM come true!

After the presentation, I ran to the BCBG Maxazria presentation and made it in for just a short period of time. I loved so many pieces I wish I got to take pictures of this one but I was so rushed since I had to quickly make it to a hair appointment at Raika! I teamed up with Paul Mitchell to do a takeover on their Awapuhi IG stories so I included my hair appointment + details of the Milly show on there. I’ve actually never done an IG story takeover before so when I was asked to do so, I was so excited!! I tried to make it super creative and fun so I hope you guys checked it out! J As mentioned, after my hair appointment at Raika using all Awapuhi and Neuro products, I went to the Milly show which was so SO colorful and vibrant!! I took tons of photos, check them out below! 🙂

I had a 3pm appointment at the Love Lounge to visit my friends from Now+Zen PR (they’re too kind!) and then went to Samsung 837 for a fun event with WWD + Michael Todd Beauty. I actually went to both events with my friends Ada & Tonya so it was nice not having to be solo on a Friday! We all went to blogger happy hour together and then ate a sushi restaurant!

To end the night, I stopped by the Flying Solo fashion show on behalf of GiGi NY which was definitely different from any other show I’ve been too! I liked it a lot and loved supporting GiGi 100%! I think I made it back home around 930-10 I was sooooo tired but everything I did on Friday was WORTH IT. I kept it simple again and wore just one outfit and you can shop my outfit details down below!

Tomorrow’s blog post will actually be a little Valentine’s Day post and then I’ll wrap up NYFW posts with Day 4 on Thursday! My day 5 and 6 was spent working and meeting with brands and PR agencies so I won’t bore you with more details on that BUT I will share a bit about where we stayed, some pros/cons and what I learned this go round on Friday with you guys! If you have any questions I can answer, let me know and I’ll include that in Friday’s final NYFW post!

Thanks so much for following along, chat soon!!
