Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017: Everything You Need to Know

No no, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale hasn’t quite started yet but I wanted to give you the run down because it’s literally one week away! Please bear with me the next month or so because a lot of my posts will be be related to the sale as I really want to help you find the best of the best items hand picked by me all the while save a ton of money! Since there will be tons of posts regarding the sale, I created an entire category dedicated to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Be sure to bookmark THIS PAGE as I will be updating it frequently with everything sale related!!

What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?

In a nutshell, it’s Nordstrom’s biggest event of the year! For a limited amount of time, you’ll find the newest (and cutest) items for fall/winter at a discounted price. There will be tons of designer items on sale as well which is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!! This sale differentiates from most others because the stuff you’ll see will the be the newest, latest and hottest trends! Yup! All new merchandise at discounted rates for a very short period of time! 🙂

What are all the dates I need to know?

For Nordstrom Cardholders: July 13-21. If you don’t have a Nordstrom card, I would highly recommend getting one!! You get to shop everything a week earlier than everyone else and that may not mean much to you, but I promise you it will! All the good stuff sells out FAST, I mean within a day or two. Boots and cardigans go super quick so definitely keep your eye out on that! If you’re interested in a Nordstrom card, sign up HERE!

• P.S. If you are a level 4 customer, you get to shop July 12! Check your Nordstrom account online to see where you stand!

If I haven’t convinced you to get a card yet, then ok fine! The actual sale will be open to the public from July 21-Aug 6. 😉 Some items do get restocked so I’ll keep you guys posted on any items that are back in stock so you can hop on it quick!!

How should I prepare for the Sale?

Honestly, the best way to shop smart is to go through your closet, look at all your fall/winter items and figure out what you need and what you need to replace. Trust me, you don’t want to be in the middle of winter having to pay full price of those Tory Burch boots or a nice jacket to keep you warm. Think ahead and buy those items on sale now whether it be a few new cardigans or cute new boots for the fall! This is also a great time to get some of those more expensive items that are on your wish list. There will be tons of designer items on sale making it a great time to invest!

Quick tip: Don’t forget your friends and family!! If you know you have a birthday gift to get or you want to have an early start on Christmas shopping, why not save A TON and get it early? Nordstrom has a wonderful return policy so as long as you don’t use/wear the item you buy, you can always return it if you change your mind!

What’s on sale and where do I shop?!

I do most of my shopping online but you can shop the sale both in store and online! Regardless of how you choose to shop, it’s important to come up with a game plan so after you go through your closet and figure out what you need, browse Nordstrom’s catalog which will give you a little preview of what will be on sale!
