going the distance in LA with my new kicks

Since Ajeet and I only plan to live in LA for 7 more months before we hit the streets of New York, we definitely want to take advantage of the nature and trails here in LA. We’ve been spending a lot more time outdoors whether it’s going on runs, hikes, or simply being outside for longer periods of time to embrace nature. I have been wearing my new Nike Epic React shoes every time we go out because they are SO comfortable and so chic. Even if we’re out for 4-5 hours, my feet don’t hurt one bit which is what I need when going the distance!

I actually bought these shoes when I was in New York for fashion week because I needed something more comfortable to change into after wearing heels all day. I fell in love with the sleek black and white look and knew I had made a good choice! After I changed into these at the store, they quickly became my go-to when walking long distance from event to event during fashion week! Now that you heard the backstory, let’s go into why I highly recommend the Nike Epic React shoes for you.

Nike Epic React // Things to Know:

  • There are several different colorways. You have tons of different colors to choose from—it can be pretty tough! I got black/white/black but the light silver/mica green/crimson tint/sail is next on my list!
  • They are so lightweight you won’t even remember you have shoes on!
  • The shoes are soft and bouncy!! You can actually feel the bounce as you run and it’s sort of like you’re running on clouds!
  • I would recommend sizing up half a size. It’s definitely a snug fit and with socks, it can be tight. I sized up to an 8 and it fit perfectly with my socks.
