Windowpane Dress + Move to LA Update

You guys LOVED this windowpane dress from Loft so I made sure to do a shoot in it while I was in LA! I just checked online and it’s currently 50% off which is why I posted a little preview on my IG stories so you can snag one before the price jumps up!! It’s seriously just the cutest dress ever and it’ll look even better with tights or stockings underneath!! It would make for a perfect family photo dress or just great for the holidays! Tis’ the Season for more black clothing, right?!

In other news, moving across the country is a big pain in the butt. We have contacted so many different movers and they have quoted us anywhere from $4-5k to move our stuff and I’m just like hold up…our stuff ain’t even worth that much?!?! Half our stuff is from Ikea, let’s be real. I may as well sell it and buy new stuff while I’m in LA like are these people CRAZY?!? Anywho, we have one more estimator coming this week to give us a quote and if that fails, we’re going to simply hire people to pack/load our things, rent a truck and drive there ourselves. It’s about a 22 hour drive so we’ll definitely stop somewhere overnight for sure! What do you guys think? I was told the drive out of Texas is boring AF but then once you get into New Mexico it’s more scenic and quick! I prefer to fly out there so I’m really hoping the last estimator gives us a reasonable quote 😁. If not, we’ll definitely vlog the road trip because it’s nothing like we’ve ever done before and hopefully we can make it fun and exciting for both us and you guys too!

As for the exact date, we were supposed to move out on Oct. 30 (when our current lease ends) but I have a great opportunity on Nov. 1 here in Dallas that I did not want to miss! I contacted leasing and thankfully the new folks don’t move in our apt until Dec. 1 so we extended our lease by two days!! I know it’s only two days but I’m so excited because that’s two more days with my family and my little Snuffball! 🙂 I’ll keep you guys updated if things do change but as of now, we are roadtrippin’ our way to LA on Nov. 1!
