I hope y’all had a great and relaxing Labor Day weekend! My weekend was pretty jam packed but it was still definitely A LOT of fun! I spent Friday evening celebrating my friends’ wedding and it was absolutely amazing! It’s always nice to catch up with people you haven’t seen in a while and I just knew I couldn’t miss seeing two of my oldest friends tie the knot! I spent Saturday celebrating my BEST FRIEND’S 26th birthday and every year with her has been incredibly special! For those of you that don’t know, Megha has been my best friend since 8th grade. Literally my partner in crime and my go-to for any of my rants and complaints. I seriously don’t know how she put up with me for all of these years! To wrap things up this weekend, we flew into San Antonio to spend some time with my fiancé’s family + my sister and her hubby! I usually try and really relax on three day weekends but I wouldn’t have traded anything else for this weekend. Spending time with family and friends was MUCH needed and I’m so glad we got to do everything we needed to this weekend! I am, however, slightly behind on getting my reading in for school, but I’ll figure something out. 😉

ANYWAY. I went shopping last week and found this AMAZING two-piece set from Express and I bought it IMMEDIATELY. I LOVE pencil skirts as it is but this one had a matching cropped tee that made it PERF!! Everything about this outfit really projects confidence and gives off a sexy vibe – the red is just an added bonus! I love the mock neck on the tee by the way. It just adds a little class to the outfit while still looking fly 😝 I paired this outfit with closed-toe nude heels (these are old btw from PAYLESS and they still rock my world!) but I’ll tag some similar ones down below! ☺️

I hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday back at work / school / life.
