#Nordstrom: Fitting Room Diaries with Nita

We survived the first day of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!! How’d it go you guys?! It’s unbelievable how many things have already sold out! I pretty much got most everything I wanted for now.. but there are a couple of things I’m still eyeing and haven’t taken the plunge quite yet. I posted a bunch of items on Instagram Stories that I bought while I was at the preview on Wednesday so today’s post is going to showcase a few of my favorites from that fitting room diary!

SWEATERS/CARDIGANS & TOPS

I bought a few sweaters, including this cozy v-neck pullover. It’s super relaxed and insanely soft but it definitely runs BIG. You do not want to get your regular size because even sizing down is super big, hah! I’m wearing an XXS!! It comes in 6 colors and I’ll likely get a few more!

I bought this cable knit sweater because I felt like it would sell out pretty quick anddddd I just noticed this color is sold out in size XS already (which is what I’m wearing). I kind of like my sweaters a bit longer so I may end up returning this one… what do you guys think?

I bought this thermal in both pink and oatmeal! It’s only $25!!! This is a must-have for the fall so if you take anything away from this post, it’s this! So soft, so cozy and so pretty!

So I think this top is meant to be a little big/flowy so I ended up buying it anyway. I do kind of wish it was a little fitted but it’s still super cute! I love the lace-up detail and obviously the sleeves are just perfectly dramatic! It’s on sale for $46. I recommend sizing down if you want a more fitted feel!

Wearing the best basic tee ever for $15! Not sheer at all and it’s incredibly soft. Plus it comes in 6 colors!

I LOVE THIS TEE! It’s basically my motto and knew I had to buy it IMMEDIATELY. It’s sold out COMPLETELY right now but once it’s back in stock, I would size down! <3

DRESSES & ROMPERS

You already know how much I love this maxi romper! The fitting is amaze and it comes in different prints as well!

I couldn’t help buying a few summer items at the sale. I know you’re supposed to buy all fall/winter stuff but they put a bunch of cute dresses on sale and I could not resist!! The floral print is gorgeous and there’s an elastic waistband which makes the dress super comfortable yet flattering all at the same time! This comes in different prints as well and is only $30! I’m wearing an XS.

Here’s another transitional piece! If I had to describe this dress in one word, it would be flattering. The open knit shows off just the right amount of skin to still keep the dress conservative and perfect for the upcoming season! I love the mauve shade which is what really sold me on this dress! I recommend getting a sticky bra btw! I’m wearing an XS.

I wasn’t sure about this wide leg jumpsuit when I saw it hanging but I absolutely loved it after trying it on! I’m wearing an XXS and it fits but it’s just a smidgen loose in the back (story of my life). The jumpsuit has adjustable straps and you know how much I love those!!!

Can’t have enough midi dresses!! I love the lace detail— this would make for a great fancy occasion dress! It does run a little big so size down! I’m wearing an XS.

Hoodie and a dress? Yes, please! I love how unique this dress is and it’s actually a perfect transitional piece for fall since it has a hoodie and the material is a little thick! It’s a great causal dress and comes in 3 colors. I’m wearing an XS.

BOTTOMS

These pleated shorts are so darling!! It has an elastic waist which makes it super comfortable and the pockets are just a major bonus! I bought the light pink but it also comes in a black floral! They run TTS, I’m wearing an XS.

I quickly paired it with this white cami in the fitting room and wasn’t actually planning on buying it until I tried it! It’s such a great piece to layer with and it has the prettiest lace trim detail on the neckline. It comes in black and green, both super gorg! I’m wearing an XXS.

My jeans are on sale for $41 and you’ll see them in a lot of these pictures + future posts. The tag says “super soft” and they aren’t lying! It feels like leggings—I didn’t even want to get out of them! Love the fitting too—wearing size 24.

This suede moto jacket is too cute to pass! I know I know, it’s too soon for us to even think about jackets but I promise you’ll thank yourself later if you buy these steals now before they go back to regular price ($188, btw). It comes in 3 colors (red, cognac, and grey) and naturally, most people will lean towards the cognac but something really drew me to the red one. I don’t own a red moto jacket and I think it’ll go with a lot of outfits—just as much as the others! I’m wearing an XS.

SHOES & SCARVES

I didn’t buy this at the store but ended up buying it online last night! I realized I wear my Stan Smith sneakers all the time and I knew adding a new set of kicks will help change my regimen a bit. I love that they’re pink but if you’re not into it, they also comes in white!

Definitely a staple that you should have in your closet if you’r ready to invest! It’s on sale so there’s no better time than now! 🙂

So many great booties here but do you see the one on the top row with the lacy cutouts? I got those in taupe! 🙂 Super excited to get them in the mail!! The color is perfect and will go with so many different outfits!

So these booties are cool but I didn’t buy them.You can fold down the back of the shoe to turn them into mules instead of booties which I thought was a neat concept though!

These are very similar to the booties I bought except it’s over-the-knee so it all depends on what you’re looking for/need. I really needed a pair of booties in this shade so I went with that but these are so cute too!

Can’t forget about scarves!! I only got one– this one. I love plaid scarves and the fringe detail is perfect!
