Feeling like a Doll

My goodness has the week flown by! I’m literally going to spend my entire weekend apartment shopping and I’m honestly super excited about it. I know for some it can be a complete drag spending all day just shopping around for literally everything, from big to small but I’ve got to say I’m PUMPED!!! I mean, who knows. I may start complaining by 1PM Saturday but we’ll see. I’ll let y’all know on Snapchat! Btw, I try and post a ton Insta Stories but the fact of the matter is, I still post more on Snap than on Insta stories so FOLLOW ME THERE (itsmeNeets)! Plus the filters are just fabulous. 😇

So as I’m sure you all can guess, it’s still flipping hot here in Texas and I’m just over it. OVER IT! I think because I’m a winter baby I love winter more…is that how it works? Idk BUT GIVE ME HOLIDAY SEASON ALREADY DANG! #impatient. Because it’s so darn hot, I decided to pull out a minidress (gasps) that is just the cutest to wear for brunch, ladies 👯 I personally didn’t go out for lunch because I’m an introvert like 99% of the time and hide from the world (almost kidding) but I did end up having a DAY date recently and this dress came in handy! I don’t know about y’all but I kind of like day dates more and then just spending the rest of the evening nice and cozied up on my couch. You know, watching a movie or binge watching a show, away from insanity. Lol, I told y’all I’m an introvert. 😂 But this really does make a great day dress! The straps crisscross the back of the dress (which is open btw) which I adore. I literally felt like a little doll in this dress because it’s so darn cute and playful! Only downfall is the price to be honest but some dresses are just worth it and this one definitely is. I can wear it again and again without it getting old and you know, I really feel that way about a lot of Topshop items now that I think about it! My next favorite part of this outfit are the shoes. I’m SURE y’all have already seen me wear these identical shoes in nude and black and who knew I had another color in my closet 😂. I know you’re probably thinking, she‘s a fashion blogger and she wears the same shoes just in different colors, cool. You guys, if I haven’t convinced you before, these classic heels can be your everyday go-to and I just understand why you wouldn’t want these heels in your life?! They practically go with anything, they’re classy and they don’t hurt!! The ones I’m wearing now are actually a bit older from Aldo but the other two colors I have are from Steve Madden. I’m going to link all of them + similar options because it’s just time y’all get these. I’m serious. So serious that my previous two statements aren’t going to get any exclamation marks! Ok, I’m done just being annoying about it lol.

Btw, I’m writing this at midnight and I just looked up and and there’s a tiny bug on my ceiling………………………….. 😨 For those of you that don’t know, I’m terribly afraid of any and all bugs but I don’t want them to kill them or for them to die either. I just don’t want them around me, is that too much to ask for? Anyway, I have to go figure out how to get this little munchkin out of here. I hope everyone has a wonderful and SAFE weekend! 💗
