Yay!! 🎉 I’m super happy today as I finally got my site back up and running with a NEW DESIGN! Wooohoo! I’m still working on tweaking a few minor things on the site though so bear with me 😇 Anyway, I can now FINALLY write about my one year blogiversary! Yes, that’s right! It’s been one insanely awesome year of blogging and I’m so stinkin’ happy! My fiancé and I actually celebrated our one year blogiversary last weekend but unfortunately I couldn’t post it on time as my site was undergoing an extreme makeover! But, it’s here now 😉

July 6, 2015 actually marks my very first post that I created on Tumblr! I can’t believe it’s already been one year and I really just can’t believe how much my blog and my social media outlets have grown in the last year. I started out with nothing but a free website. It wasn’t until January of this year that I finally invested in myself, my brand and my blog and created a domain name and all sorts of other fun stuff to make this “real”. But seriously, even then, I had no idea what I was doing. I still don’t. I can’t even begin to tell y’all how many things I’ve had to Google search and learn over the last year. Like, what in the world is SEO?! How do I change my font color?! What is a plugin? How can I embed a video? WHAT IS HTML CODING. Nonetheless, I’ve learned so much thanks to Google and my wonderful fiancé who has helped me every step of the way. And seriously you guys, by no means am I professional blogger quite yet.  Every day as a blogger I’m learning new things about website development, branding, and marketing that I had no idea I needed to even think about! It’s so crazy how the blogging industry has kicked off over the last few years and I’m so so happy to be a part of it! And you know what, truth be told I would not have been able to keep going without the support of YOU GUYS! You make it possible for me to continue posting content and sharing things that I truly believe in and love whether it be clothing items, beauty products or lifestyle and travel advice! So seriously, thank y’all so much. I already have so many exciting things planned for the rest of this year and I can’t wait to share it with y’all! This year I’ve decided to really focus more on my blog and expanding other social media outlets as well. So, if you don’t already follow my other social media accounts it’d be so awesome if you did now! ☺️ Hehe! Anyway, thank y’all so much for sticking by me the last year. Words can’t express how much it means to me 💛

On a side note, I kind of wanted to share my two cents for those of you that are looking to start your own blog. The most important thing I’ve learned over the last year is that consistency is key when it comes to blogging. Just keep posting quality content and don’t give up. This is not something that will magically turn into a career over night. Believe in yourself and the content you create, and don’t be afraid to reach out to other bloggers with a little more experience. You’d be surprised how many wonderful people are out there willing to give you a hand! 🙂 Always remember to just be yourself and let your personality shine through each and every beautiful post! I know this sounds so typical, but it’s true and it’s the best advice that I ever got too.

P.S. I found this dress at Urban Outfitters and I wasn’t too sure about it until I tried it on. It’s one of those dresses that you don’t realize how AMAZING it is until it’s actually on you. I’ve received SO MANY compliments on this dress so trust me on this, get it and try it on. It’ll surprise you..in a good way! 😘
