Oh my gosh it’s Wednesday!!! I knocked out two of my exams this week (surviving off of 3 hours of sleep right now 😴) and I’m officially taking a break today! I’ll get back in the study groove tomorrow for my last exam next Tuesday! After my exam I took a 2 hour nap and played with my dog, Snuffy, for hours! I did go to the nail salon and finally get rid of my wedding nails, they were seriously getting so bad, lol!
This floral print midi dress is the second dress I wore for my engagement shoot! We went to Arlington Lee Park with both of our dogs and took a bunch of fun family (dog mom over here 🙋) photos which I’ll be revealing more of soon! There was something about this dress that screamed nature and effortlessly romantic and I knew I wanted it for my engagement photoshoot. Plus, you know I’m completely obsessed with the ruffle trend these days and this dress had more than enough to make this girl happy! If you’re looking for a cutesy, feminine summer dress– this is it! It’s super light and flowy too. Definitely breathable for that summer heat that’s coming our way! I’m usually hesitant to buy midi dresses because I never know how they’ll fit on me as some of them just end up feeling like a maxi. I’m 5’4 for reference so you can see how the dress sits on my body! I chose to go with gladiators on the day of my engagement photoshoot but you can always dress it up with some cute nude heels like I did here!! 🙂
