I wore this little number while I was in San Francisco two weeks ago just a few minutes before we had to leave, Ajeet reminded me how cold it gets in SF (at least for me!). If things get below 60 degrees, you can bet I’ll be shivering! I quickly threw on some boots, not really sure what I was going to wear with them but it actually turned out perfectly! For the most part, I don’t mind my dresses being a little big on me but this one almost felt like I was wearing a bag so it wasn’t very flattering for my body type. I ordered a small but I still felt like I needed something to make it more comfortable and more me. I dug through my closet and found this little black waist belt that I haven’t touched in years!! I love how feminine this dress is with the ruffles and the pink hues (the description says it’s red, and maybe it is but it looks a bit pink to me!) but I wanted to toughen it up a little and so the little black belt turned out great! It was super chilly in San Francisco (as expected) so I threw on my favorite over-the-knee boots from Cole Haan! These boots are made for walking and it’s definitely one of my go-to boots for fall and winter. I got them when they were on sale last season but since they are a little pricey now, check out these other ones that are a fraction of the cost and look the exact same! 🙂
I would have styled this dress a bit differently in Dallas with either comfy sneakers or cute black open-toed sandals, depending on what my plans were for the day. You can play around with the dress and style it up or down, with or without a belt. I liked having more of a defined look so the thin belt came in handy! The dress is on sale and there are only a few left in stock so give it a lookie!! Chat soon, loves!
